As part of ECO’s mission to ensure adequate health care for underprivileged children in
Canada and elsewhere, ECO donated $1,000 to Roger Neilson House, which works in
palliative care for newborns and children in the Ottawa Gatineau area.
Despite continuous advances in pediatric research and medical care, an increasing number of
children face a fatal or terminal illness, while many other children remain medically complex,
fragile and dependent on technology throughout their lives.
In Ottawa, Roger Neilson House enriches the quality of life, no matter how short, and meets the
unique palliative care needs of newborns, children and their families.
This donation to Roger Neilson House will be used to support the essential programs and
services offered by Roger Neilson House now and in the future.
